I had my first fill done today. I was so nervous because I was having it done in the US. How funny is that, if I was going to Mexicali I would have had complete peace!! :) The surgeon did the fill and THEN did fluro. I didn't understand that but at least I got to see the band again and watch the liquid flow through it. He poked me twice w/the same needled before I could lecture him on the dangers of increasing infection by using the same needle - yup I did it, I confronted someone (in authority) when it came to my well being - if you can't tell, that would be a new one to me :) He explained that he stayed in the port both times so there was nothing to worry about. I don't know about all that, but I will be grateful for some restriction and subsequent weight loss.
